Any updates to dual life modules are currently installed to .../perl/lib. It would likely be clearer to install to ../perl/vendor/lib.

I changed my mind - there is the (small) possibility that an updated module installs a utility to .../perl/vendor/bin. This will cause broader issues as it is rare for that dir to be added to the path.
