Help Translate

Hello friends, I use this app for educational videos. I take subtitle files with Whisper and use Google Translate for translation. However, when each subtitle sentence is in separate lines, there is a loss of meaning in the translation, and I don't get accurate results. What I want is to have only one sentence per line. Is there a method or command to automate this? Doing it manually is quite time-consuming. Or, what should I do to get the correct translation from Google Translate? I'm a bit of a beginner in these areas, could you help me out?

Do you mean that a sentence split on two or more lines is translated line by line and losing context?

You can try "Merge sentences" command before translating, although I suspect that SE already does something to mantain context:

After the text is translated you can use "Tools/Fix common errors" to reformat/split the lines.
