[bug] Adal CLI terminal freezes very often on Linux

Bug Description

Adal CLI terminal freezes very often on Linux during normal use, causing the interactive session to become unresponsive.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Use Adal CLI on Linux in an interactive terminal session.
2. Run regular agent workflow actions (planning, file/tool operations, and response generation).
3. Continue interacting over multiple turns.
4. Observe that the terminal intermittently freezes and stops responding.

Expected vs Actual

• Expected: Adal CLI remains responsive throughout interactive usage.
• Actual: Terminal frequently freezes and interaction stalls. No stable in-session stack trace was captured in this session context.

Environment

• OS: Linux
• Model: GPT-5.3 Codex (gpt-5.3-codex)
