What issue are you having that you need harpoon to solve?
I found harpoon to be very useful in my small personal projects, but often found that when i'm fixing tickets at work that I use the same git project. Therefore, I need to constantly swap the filepaths in harpoon which has become tedius. Therefore, I created a flag so you can have harpoon check your current branch as well as your CWD.

Why doesn't the current config help?
Current config does not have separate storage based on git branch

What proposed api changes are you suggesting?
!!! I already have made the change on my own fork, I just need colaborator access to make pull request !!!
I added a flag so that when it is enabled harpoon will then care about which branch you are on when saving/loading storage.
