I don't know what the team is working on now, maybe exactly what I'll write below, because these are obvious problems that should have been fixed a long time ago (At least first two).
So, first of all, the sight, which in the original is implied to be in the form of a dot, it is exactly that if you set 720p, but due to the wrong scale at 1080p it turns into a square, at some resolutions into a line.
Also, the PC version has terrible sensitivity and/or dead zones of the controller. I use an Xbox Wireless Controller from the Xbox Series X/S, after playing through an emulator, the PC version feels terrible. (both have medium sensitivity in the settings)
And one more thing: I don't know if this concerns to console visuals or fusion fix, but the console versions had a very nice animation of the character's delay relative to the camera during aiming. It adds a lot of liveliness and inertia to the game.
gameplay through fusion fix now feels extremely good if you play through the keyboard and mouse, but if you play through the controller, the gameplay feels much more pleasant on a console released almost 20 years ago at a miserable 20-30 fps by modern standards.
I don't know how possible it is to do all this, and rumors about a remaster of the game (which if it happens, will just be a good port like RDR1) do not add desire, but it is great to implement it.
What should happen
