Game version this happens in

v1.2.0.59

What area of the game

Since version 3.5.0 the cutscenes have indeed become much smoother, but now the audio get progressively out of sync as the cutscene goes on. The rate of desynchronization is random and inconsistent, varies between runs, no clear correlation or dependency has been noticed. The attached video shows vanilla game version 1.2.0.59 with nothing but Fusion Fix v.3.5.1 installed running on Steam Deck LCD with framerate limited at 60.

Vanilla game footage: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NOWQhHrwKkHTzPlnny1UJC3N6_3nNoKD/view?usp=sharing

FusionFix 351 footage: https://drive.google.com/file/d/11GoNYH8VTXw5Dw7dln7R_BuAurRVE52N/view?usp=sharing

Playing them side by side suggests that the audio is running at correct speed, but the animation is ever so slightly faster.

The issue does not happen with FF versions before 3.5.0.

What should happen

The audio and animations should stay in sync.

I've heard that usually this only happens in the first cutscene when starting a new game. Can you try playing a bit further in one sitting to see if the consequent cutscenes also show this issue?

The cutscene after arriving to the "mansion" has this issue as well, by the time Niko slams the table, the desync is roughly 1 to 2 seconds.

Hmm have you tried disabling ExtraCutsceneFixes in the FusionFix.ini?

Did some further testing.

Cold boot into new game >
"Intro" out of sync > "Mansion" out of sync > Start new game from the menu >
"Intro" out of sync > "Mansion" out of sync > Save > "It's your call" out of sync > Restart the game >
Load the save > Start new game from the menu > "Intro" in sync > "Mansion" in sync.

I haven't checked the Episodes yet though.

Hmm have you tried disabling ExtraCutsceneFixes in the FusionFix.ini?

Just tried that. It does fix the audio sync issue, but the cutscenes are essentially back to the jittery mess again.
