TrackerControl versus DuckDuckGo App Tracking Protection

I notice that the DuckDuckGo app itself is consistently updated (not sure if each update adds new trackers to the blocklist) and TrackerControl hasn't been update in 6 months. Should I still consider using TrackerControl over DuckDuckGo's app tracking protection, or should I just continue using DuckDuckGo's app tracking protection?

Oh I see now: the app update is just for app fixes but there is a continuously updated hosts list. Just like how Termux only updates once and a while but has consistently updated packages. TrackerControl is THE WAY TO GO! Shows as blocking everything DuckDuckGo's app tracking protection did AND MORE! Significantly more control as well on TrackerControl! Thank you for this INCREDIBLE app! Seriously. You did a phenomenal job, and you give the power back to us common users! Thank you.
