Ban without deleting messages

When using the bot ban command, discord deletes messages, but that's not always desired. When using Discord's built in ban, it asks if you want to delete messages, but you can't use it with a user id when someone isn't in the server anymore.

Can Cecil/Tim ban without deleting messages?

Discord improved their built in ban controls, so we can use userid to ban someone now, and they include the option to delete messages or not. So we might be able to just sunset the bot's ban controls? Or at least, we can close this issue?
