+    We are intending to upgrade half of Kathleen to the new operating system (RHEL9) and scheduler
+    (Slurm) and give you access on **Weds 18 June** if all goes well.

+    We are draining half of the compute nodes in preparation for this.

+    We intend to run old Kathleen and new Kathleen in parallel for a while to allow any problems to
+    be found, more software to be installed, and for you to gradually move over to the new environment
