Hi!
I am a full on Blender fan, and I have been since 2002. I have also released my game project "The Shadows Lengthen" on steam with UPBGE version 0,2,5. Without UPBGE my project in Blender 2.79b would have been dead in the water. I feel compelled to support the UPBGE 0.4+ project and beyond. EEVEE next is really exciting and I hope it will breath new life into the open-source game creation community.
Having made an open-world game and struggled with the limitations and small frustrations that come with working with such an amazing engine. Coming from a creative's perspective, I know that I could offer a lot of user-friendly ideas, new tools and fix plaguing bugs that would make the experience easier, at least for myself?
That being said I am finding it a little difficult to get started with making changes, improvements to the existing trunk. Is there a faq/guide for people with rusty coding skills, but a genuine desire to dig in, learn fast, and make improvements for all? Because that is me.
