McCrea is a supervisory biometrician with the FWS Refuge Inventory and Monitoring Program based in Anchorage, Alaska. He enjoys working with biologists to ensure that surveys are scientifically rigorous and produce data that are findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR). He is an avid R user and enjoys developing script-based workflows. #### Jacob Cochran

Jacob is a fish biologist with the FWS Lower Great Lakes Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office in Basom, NY. He leads the Aquatic Invasive Species programs early detection and monitoring efforts across the lower Great Lakes. Along with managing fieldwork operations, Jacob emphasizes efficiency through workflows and automation to improve program capacity and data availability. Jonah is a strong advocate for the use of R and developing reproducible workflows.
