• Semesters
• Year of study
• Program
• Distribution (HUM/SCI/SSc)

Describe Possible Solutions

• Button that opens up modal for these filters
• Indicators for what filters have been applied
• Clear filters button
• Backend support for filtering

Hey Jarrod great to see you working on it right now, just want to add a little my thought to your issue. For my experience the people who come to use VIAplanner tend to know what courses they want to plan for their semester, yet I am not saying your idea is redundant. I feel that you might be more interested to a feature we didn't have time to implement but it was fully prepared to do last summer, is like a little pop up of the courses description before adding course into the timetable. It looks like this

The courses description data is scraped and for details you can ask Shawn, but I think that can be a good way to introduce students to find courses on VIAplanner.
