This issue has been raised multiple times, but I haven’t found a solution yet. As a workaround, you can modify OpenWebUI’s source code to reject all API requests except those from the admin. |

Why close the issue then? Someone will just open it again, it's an obvious use case. "Reject all API requests except admin" is not a solution -- this tool's value is not related to managing access, it's about monitoring usage. Better idea to reopen it, use this as a place for a discussion on how to implement, prototype a fix and eventually merge the new functionality. |

Expected behaviour: Any activity under open-webui API keys associated with some user should show up in the usage report under that user's counts.
Actual behaviour: API activity does not show up in the dashboard, only the activity of the user done in the open-webui UI.
