It would be nice to be able to hide the Pokemon that show up with the grass icon on the map. Either at the individual Pokemon level, or even at the global level.

How about filtering with IV only? Pokemon with grass icon are pokemon without any IV and with no precise location...
It would be better to contact your map admin, that's probably the wrong place here :)

I tried that before as a workaround but that also hides the ones that are unverified but are close to Pokestops (no IVs, but without the grass icon). I'd still like to see those ones because they are almost always within spawning distance of the Pokestop.

Any specific reason why you would not want to see the L15 S2 cell nearby? Maybe a better thing to do is to show the L15 S2 cell boundary when the mon is clicked on.

I just haven't had much luck with finding them when I actually get to the area. And they tend to clutter up the map. Right now I can select them individually and hide them, but then if they get updated/verified on a subsequent scan, they will still remain hidden.
