Based on Brady’s recommendations, the scale asked the participants how likely they were to engage in such actions as ‘‘I am willing to discuss important school issues with others and advance my position’’ (persuasion), ‘‘I am willing to vote for the next Undergraduate Student Government election’’ (voting), ‘‘If there is a meeting or conference on important school issues, I will attend it’’ (non-electoral activity, meeting attendance), and ‘‘I am willing to work with others in school to try to solve some school problems’’ (non-electoral activity, local problem solving).
