The biggest change will be the entity names won't be exactly the same. All of the names for this integration will have the inverter ID in it. For meters and batteries it also adds the meter ID or battery ID. This integration has more features and fewer (hopefully no) bugs. You shouldn't worry about missing features, it will do everything plus more and well tested by other users. One thing you can't do is run the two integrations together: mine uses the updated version of pymodbus for HA 2025.2, the other integration is NOT updated and will cause problems if it's loaded. |

Hi everyone,
I'm currently using the home-assistant-solaredge-modbus integration and I'm looking to switch to solaredge-modbus-multi. I also have a battery that I'm using in my automations, and I want to ensure that the migration will support my current setup.
I would appreciate any guidance or tips on how to migrate my setup smoothly, especially regarding the battery integration.
If anyone has experience with this transition or can point me to relevant documentation, it would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
