no more gobal dtreaming in 8.8.2

all episodes are dowload only even if sreaming is on in global parameterS.

have to set all my podcasts to stream 1 by 1 ???

only hance download icons in queues.

Sorry about that. Not sure what the cause for that. The current version 8.10.2 should work correctly. If you don't want to update yet, you can always long-press on the download button and select stream in the popup menu.

thx-All my queues had auto-add episodes (~300 ep) that where in stream mode and auto load. now they all have download icon only. I have to go in all subscription to set them to stream mode 1by1 cause the global stream mode doesn't work any more with 8.8.2
hope with 8.10 but not found in f-droid. still 8.8.2

OK, I see your problem. The change is made in 8.7.0:

in episodes list, stream button is shown on an episode when prefer streaming is set both globally and in the feed

So the global setting serves to effectively turn off streaming for all feeds. When it's turned on, individual feeds need also to prefer streaming to make it effective. I think this helps controlling auto-enqueue and auto-download. And this is also inline with the reasoning of the global setting of auto-download. But I see it causes your problem when you expect the global prefer-streaming turns on for all feeds.

Perhaps you can help reasoning if it's better for global prefer-streaming to turn on for all feeds or to turn off for all feeds.
