As we all know, Windows versions of YS can only tap into DirectInput, and with it, setting up a gamepad for flight controls can get fairly irritating. It would do wonders for new players, especially those who are new to flight sims as a whole, to integrate YS with XInput, and create a suitable default controls set for the purpose, one which can work right out of the box. (If it's of any help, this control profile that I made a few years ago for the 360 controller might be a decent starting template.)

Input is definitely something we should tackle. I think we can probably have that be next on the chopping block once we've gotten some environmental work done (Day/night cycle, etc.), since that seems to be the current focus of the devs on team.
