How to use nextpnr-himbaechel in --gui mode?

(Using Version nextpnr-0.9-60-gb4da86ed on MacOS)

I am trying to understand the placement and routing of my gowin design using nextpnr-himbaechel --gui, I am able to load the design using the command below and run pack/place/route in the gui but I can't make anything to show up in the device grid view.

nextpnr-himbaechel --device GW2AR-LV18QN88C8/I7 --json _build/tang20k/hardware.json --write _build/tang20k/hardware.pnr.json --report _build/tang20k/hardware.pnr --vopt family=GW2A-18C --vopt cst=pinout.cst -q --seed 1006 --gui

How to show for example a specific cell or net or wire on the grid map, or anything else?

There have to be at least void drawBel(std::vector<GraphicElement> &g, GraphicElement::style_t style, IdString bel_type, Loc loc) implemented for gowin uarch so you would be able to see any bels in gui, as you can see that is not implemented in code.
