PC/SC Error messages when trying to enroll a FIDO 2 Key

I used this tool a couple of months back as a proof of concept for us to roll out MFA to the organisation, all worked well.

I've gone back to the tool today to try and enroll the keys but am getting a message about PC/SC Services.

Prepare for FIDO2 Registration Ceremony and follow the prompts

        Press Enter when security key is ready

PC/SC not available. Smart card (CCID) protocols will not function.

I've done some research online and been pointed in the direction of the Windows Smart Card Service but haven't been able to get any changes to the error that comes our regardless if it is running or not.

I'm running inside of VS Code on Windows 11 24H2 but have also tried natively through CMD with python.

I've also tried installing an older version of the yukikey manager package as that had been updated since the last use.

Just wondered if you had any pointers or areas that may be useful to look in for further diagnostics?
