Video is not playing in Android

I am trying to play video from azure url but it's working fine in iOS not in Android .

I know these issues aren't being monitored but I'm getting a similar issue with amazon s3 links. The links are public, the content type is video/mp4. The links also work perfectly in chrome on android and UWP (haven't gotten a chance to test iOS)

For a bit more detail, when I press play, nothing happens. However if I continue to press play/pause back and forth, the video will eventually play. Once it finishes, I have to go through the same thing again to get it to play once more.

OK, I can confirm exo player (https://github.com/martijn00/ExoPlayerXamarin) works with my s3 urls. Now I just need to figure out how to implement that into this codebase. Is it possible for me to override the renderer in my codebase without me having to fork the code?
