Can this tool bypass PROCHOT?

Howdy - I have a Macbook Pro that has had its battery fail. I am looking to run Proxmox on it as a lab environment, however my CPU is limited to 800mhz without the battery. Is this tool able to bypass / disable PROCHOT throttling?
