Analysis
These are clearly the same breed with only a minor grammatical variation ("Face" vs "Faced"). Notably:
- VBO:0001309 has a synonym "Welsh Mountain Badger Faced" which uses the "Faced" spelling
- VBO:0001309 has an LBO cross-reference
- Both are sourced from FAO DAD-IS
Recommendation
Merge these terms:
- Keep VBO:0001309 (has LBO xref) as the primary term
- Make VBO:0001310 obsolete
- Add "Badger Faced Welsh Mountain" as a synonym to VBO:0001309
- Ensure both geographic variants point to the retained term
