Define which of competing rules (for two different browsers) should win

I have a rule that any link from Slack is opened in Chrome.
I also have a rule that links for chatgpt.com are to be opened in Firefox.
Now BT shows a popup where I can choose the browser, as both rules trigger.
Is there a way to let one of them win by default (Firefox in my case)?

Claude suggests this, but I am not sure if it is not just missing some more obvious approach:

For your case, say the intent is "chatgpt.com from Slack → Firefox, but any other Slack link → Chrome." Keep the chatgpt.com→Firefox rule as a plain rule, and replace the Slack→Chrome rule with a Lua rule that excludes chatgpt:

Attach that as Chrome's rule. Now a chatgpt link from Slack matches only the Firefox rule, every other Slack link matches only the Chrome rule, matches.size() is always 1, and nothing pops up. Whatever your real deciding factor is — a domain, a path, the source app, a regex — you bake it into the match condition the same way, so the two rules never overlap.
