Last Fluent Assertions release changed its license to a paid version for commercial use, but FluentResults can be used in commercial applications under MIT license, so would be reasonable pin a free version of Fluent Assertions in references, using [ ].
Why not consider creating a FluentResults.Extensions.AwesomeAssertions package and using the AwesomeAssertions project? You could maintain this project while simply making a copy of it to integrate AwesomeAssertions. Since it uses the same namespace, nothing will break. It's also actively maintained at the moment.
Alternatively, why not mark it as deprecated and recommend switching to the AwesomeAssertions version?
