Should a new version be released?

The version of the tokio-reactor-trait crate has been updated to 2.0.0. However, lapin cannot be used due to some breaking changes.

It's actually the other way around. The release of the reactor-trait was made in preparation for the next lapin release. So yes, a new one is coming

While waiting for everything necessary that needs to get implemented for the new update, it'd be nice to have a new beta release of the new version, that at least updates all the dependencies, and have it be available in crates.io, just to solve the different vulnerabilities present in the dependencies used in the currently released version.
