How to skip k8s cluster image scanning using the helm chart values?

Hello,
Is it possible to disable the trivy kubernetes image scanning as mentioned in the docs using the charts values?
I tried to add an extra environment variable as follows but it did not work:

  extraEnv:
    - name: TRIVY_SKIP_IMAGES
      value: "true"

@CyberHippo could you give more details about your issue? what is your case?

--skip-images flag is worked for trivy k8s subcommand only, it doesn't affect on trivy-operator.

Trivy-operator has several modes of scanning. If you don't need image scan, just disable vulnerability scanner
