Problem with argocd and openfeature

Hi, recently I had a problem with argocd because the pod of openfeature was down.
We manage a lot of app in argocd (50 or more) but only one app use openfeature like this.

But because the openfeature's pod was down all apps failed with the same error.

Is is a bug with argocd and openfeature? Why argocd need to knowk the initial state when the app not use featureflag?

Same thing here with argocd-operator:
