nobody ? that is really an important feature for me, so far I draw these maps in blender and use them ask material layer masks would be great to be able to do that in AP |

I think the issue is that the layer masks in AP are grayscale and for RGB images it just takes the red channel. How are you expecting it to work - should the RGB image be converted to grayscale or are you masking each channel separately? |

I use the green channel in unreal, makes sense that AP uses r by default |

Hi
I checked the doc and I believe armorpaint cannot do that
I just need a texture I have to be used as a mask for layer 2
I expect the mask to be like in blender (on the right)
