Artisan connects to my Mac but not PC

I've originally set up Artisan with my Golden Roaster 1.5 through a MacBook, which worked really nicely. Now got a Windows 10 laptop specifically for running Artisan next to the roaster but can't get it connected.
I use the correct Port and the settings and they all look correct. Even they guys from Golden had a look at it and they can't get it going either. Also downloaded again all the drivers but I can't get it going - all I get is Modbus connection failed.
Any help much appreciated

Windows doesn't explicitly have a "correct port". The assigned COMx port can change depending on what USB port you plug the device into (under the covers, it's assigned based on the USB hub that it is connected to so you should always get the same port if you attach to the same port).
The best way to confirm what port is what is to use Device Manager. Explicitly, open device manager before the roaster is connected, you should see either no serial port section visible in the tree, or you'll have whatever other serial ports exist on your device (for me, I see two bluetooth devices). If there are serial ports visible, expand that section so you can see things pop in when you connect the roaster.
Then you can connect the roaster.
The new COM port will appear; you will then be able to see it's assigned COM port number (eg it could be COM7) and you will see it's status including whether it has a working driver. Screen shot that. Then configure Artisan to use that. If you can't get it to work, share the screenshot and your Artisan configuration.
