Parenthesis Color issue

I'm using this package for PHP. The screenshot is a snippet from an associative array declaration. The opening parenthesis is not the same as the closing parenthesis. I have never noticed this before in any of my other code.

It does not do this for other parenthesis in the associative array, it seems to be only because of the pointer method.
