Aurélien Wailly is a researcher at Orange Labs, France, and member of the Devices and Systems security team since 2010. He received his PhD in 2014 defending an end-to-end security architecture and self-protection mechanisms for virtualized environments from University Pierre et Marie Curie. His primary research interest is the application of autonomic concepts to adapt security to cloud infrastructures. The associated protection framework, VESPA, is part of several French and European research projects, together with international publications. He also studies underlying virtualization security to lower attack surface and provide remediation.
