We will migrate the project to something more modern for project management.

The goal is to:

  1. Rely more on native tools and configuration over scripts
  2. Reduce reliance on OS / distro vendors to provide a docker image with a particular python version.
  3. Simplify management of docker images
  4. Simplify project bootstrapping
