Issue description

Wifi does not work:
When activating it in the option, it is not able to find any of the Wifi SSID

Bluetooth does not work:
Automatic detection of controller do not find my PS3 controller
Manual detection of controller do not find my controller

Detailed reproduction steps

Install the batocera-h6-orangepi-3-lts-40-20240813.img thoughe Etcher on the SD Card
Boot the system
Go to menu option, network option
Click on Activate Wifi
Go to Network Name

  • Issue 1: it will say no wifi network found
Go to Manual and type in your wifi SSID manually
Go to wifi key and type your wifi key
  • Issue 2: even manually filled, is will never connect to the wifi SSID

For controller:
Connect your controller with the USB cable (in my case, PS4 controller).
The system will detect the controller as "Sony Computer Entertainment Wireless controller"
Go to Controller settings
Activate Bluetooth and select the Associate Bluettoth Controller Automatically
Unplugg the USB cable and activate the paring mode on the controller

  • Issue 3: the controller is not seen by Batocera
Select the Associate Bluettoth Controller Manually
  • Issue 4: the controller is not seen by Batocera

Details of any attempts to fix this yourself

changing the Bluetooth controllers (3 times, various models)
update to V41: Issue is still (on both Bluetooth and Wifi)
Back to v38: Everything is working fine

Details of any modifications you have made to Batocera.

Submit the proper logs, es launch logs are not relevant here. Issue template tells you to attach a support file, and how to generate it.

Issue already raised in march by another user in the v39. So issue is still on v40, and still on v41. Reverted back to v38, as seems no fix are ongoing

That issue also contains no logs, and will likely be closed unfixed.

PS3 controllers have different ways or methods to connect you don't have to go to Controller settings to Activate Bluetooth and select the Associate Bluetooth Controller Automatically

1- Plug it via the USB cable into the machine Batocera is running on
2- Wait 5-10 seconds
3-Unplug the cable and press the PlayStation button in the middle of the controller

It should then automatically be detected and paired

I did try, doesnt work neither (updated the first post, it's PS4 controllers, not PS3)

I'm having the same problem with version 41 2025/02/01.

When I try to use Bluetooth, the system can't pair the PS3, PS4, Switch and Xbox One controllers.
It doesn't even appear in the scan, both with the machine's internal adapter that makes it work and with the external Baseus adapter that works perfectly on the other PC where I already use the PS4 controller for some games.

The same thing happens with Wifi, it doesn't find any network around, and it also doesn't connect even if I enter the data manually.

-- My Batocera Host --
Model: OptiPlex_3040

CPU Max Frequency: 3200 MHz
CPU Features: avx2 sse4_1

Now I'm going to start backing up everything I did to downgrade to version 38 indicated here, to see if it works properly.
