ModuleNotFoundError (No module named 'libsbml') errors show up for Smoldyn, XPP, pyNeuroML, OpencCOR, NEURON, NetPyNE, Brian2.
@fbergmann pointed out that libsbml is required for validation (see here) and should no longer filed as an optional dependency which should solve this issue.

We (@sanjayankur31, @pgleeson, @skeating, @robertvi) have been using Biosimulators to run SBML models with different simulation engines (see table).
