Steps To Reproduce

We click on the icon in the Chrome extension bar,

Image

After which a white rectangle appears,

and a message, e.g., "BitWarden has a new look".

Or maybe we are just plunked into our vault.

Ah, but before that happens, if the user is using a slow system, on a heavily loaded network, they will be staring at that empty white rectangle for several seconds!

Therefore an initial spinner should be added.

Yes, the white rectangle is where the vault is placed. But before the vault fills it, it is blank for quite a while.

Why did the team never discover the problem?

Because the team never used a slow system on a slow (low bandwidth) network.

But the vault does have a spinner.

Ah, but not for the time even before the word "Vault" appears on the screen!
