Consider enabling modifiers for `Go to definition`

Go to Definition is currently available via the F12 shortcut or the context menu. However, this can be disruptive since the editor immediately switches workflow view when navigating to a new location.

To improve the experience, we could consider options similar to VS Code:

• Allow modifier keys (e.g., Ctrl + F12 ) to open the definition in a new tab/window. Ideally, this would also apply to the context menu, though that might feel like unnecessary complexity.

• Always open the definition in a new tab/window, following VS Code’s behavior.

Personally, I prefer the second option. However, to avoid introducing breaking changes, the first option might be less disruptive for existing users.
