Dynamic code writing

I'd like to be able to dynamically change / overwrite the code (without st.rerun and waiting for it to load all of the code).

Is that something that is feasible?

In Streamlit, nothing changes content-wise without some sort of rerun. It's the way Streamlit works. The python you write is backend code and what the user sees is on the client/front-end.

What I think you want is to not change/update other parts of the app and just update the code editor. I believe you can do this in Streamlit by putting the code editor inside a Fragment
