@almontg I defer to you to decide where it should go, but the full title "American Revolutionary Geographies Online" ought to be somewhere in the top half of the front page so people know what the heck the acronym is supposed to mean. I suggest rewriting the text in the hero block to be the following:
In American Revolutionary Geographies Online, discover the stories, spaces, and people of the American Revolutionary War era through maps, interpretive essays, and interactives.
While we're tinkering with that block, may I also suggest that the text in the search box be a bit larger?

The feedback I received at the symposium was that the search box was too prominent already, which distracts from the curated content. There's also a design hierarchy issue depending on how big you imagine it being.
We also have a version of the logo that has the full name spelled out; it's not in the correct colors atm but I could get it from our graphics guy fairly quickly
