Let's try and come up with per-user, per-repository, and per-commit data that are relevant to investigating the following hypotheses:
Do commits on ECP follow the 80/20 rule?
Do the 20% of committers make more cross-project contributions?
What's the relationship across projects between core and periphery contributors?
Are users who are core contributors to one (public) ECP project distinguishable from those who are not (looking only at their non-core activity)?
Is the ECP more collaborative now than 1 or 2 years prior?
