After testing the CaribouLite wide frequency input receive capabilities in the lab, I was surprised by a couple of things:
I did not see the two exclusion regions in the wide tunable (6 GHz) region: 2398.5-2400 MHz and 2483.5-2485 MHz. I was able to receive signals in those regions with no problem. The spectrum from 2385 to 2495 was reversed when it switches into bypass mode but I was able to swap I & Q to fix that. Anyone know why they were there in the first place and why they don't seem to be there now?
My understanding of the RFFC5072 data sheet is the LO is limited to a max of 4200 MHz but it continued up to 4879 MHz as shown in the table below. Is the part just being used beyond spec or is this valid?
