based on my understanding from the source code
this plugin does not update the icon immediately
For Android, it uses Service to perform the task and will only trigger update when killing the app

@TimothyGCY understood, tested and it work. So for device that are not listed in the blacklist user need to clear the prev task or activity. Is there any issue restarting the app after changing the icon?
