I would like to ask for permission to redistribute the shell script below under the GPLv2 license.

The background is: I am a maintainer of the Netatalk project, and am working on improving the Docker configuration. Your script is solving exactly the problem that I'm facing right now.

Your repo is licensed under GPLv3 which is why I need your explicit permission to redistribute under a different license.
