So the goal of this repository is to develop "an app" that can perform detecting and identifying certain types of scenes with text (SWT) in them.

This comment (#63 (comment)) shows some example of how we define SWT labels from the manual annotation, via the step we call "binning". As for v3.0, our plan is to use slate, chyron, credits and bar labels that aggregate one or more manual annotation labels (defined in the linked google doc), but this can change in the future (also related to #60).
