Dynamically add mincolors to a field

Hi,
i am having one "color" input field, which is updated to a specific color, when clicking on an element.
When changing the color, the element itself gets the new color - so far so good :)

If directly clicking on a different element, the one firstly selected looses the current color.

Do you perhaps know, how to perfom this?

I'm not sure what you're asking. A CodePen or similar would help demonstrate the problem better.

By the way, this library is in maintenance mode. While it continues to function, it doesn't receive updates like it did many years ago. If you want something more modern, please checkout Shoelace's color picker web component.
