Here's the thing with using add_image_size(), right? Timber allows for dynamic image size declaration on a per 'thing' basis right there within the TWIG template.
There's no need to declare any image styles.
That said..... there's something to be said about Branding and UX for limiting image sizes to a specific set of sizes.
