+# Code is Science Manifesto Roadmap
+
+- **October 2017** - Mozilla Festival session on code in science. Attendees come up with the idea of a manifesto in an interactive discussion session
+- **March 2018** - The manifesto priorities are discussed as part of a mini-workshop at the [Collaborations Workshop](https://www.software.ac.uk/cw18/), and a first draft of the manifesto is created.
+- 60 day consultation period to review the draft
+- **1 June 2018** official launch date of the manifesto to allow sign-ups from individuals and institutions.
