Release 1.0.0 Preparations

OS-Lib is pretty stable. Yet, we introduced some binary incompatibilities in the main branch since 0.8.0, so a new major release is needed. I think this is a good moment to make a 1.0 release and commit to semantic versioning (aka SemVer).

If you have any change or improvement in mind, speak up now, so we can bring them in before settling on a stable API/ABI.

Also, if you think a 1.0 is too early, please provide some good arguments, then we can release as 0.9 and have another round of stabilizations.

If there is no relevant negative feedback, I think I will cut a 1.0 release in the beginnings of November 2022.

• I discovered some API shortcoming in Handling of multiple roots aka Windows drive letters #136, which would be nice to fix before 1.0.

• Review all case classes of the API and make them either non-case classes or modify them to be easier binary evolveable (private constructor, private copy, private unapply)
