Leaving notes experiment notes is an important thing, but it is somewhat tedious to open an experiment, go to Notes, open Markdown, etc. Also, this incurs some latency due to loading the aforementioned UI elements.
Describe the solution you'd like
Allow writing notes directly from the Experiments panel, by pressing on the 'Show metadata' for an experiment and scrolling (or even not scrolling, right from the top) to the 'Notes' section where one could directly type in some text.
Describe alternatives you've considered
This seems to be the most straightforward way of improving this aspect of the UX.
