[Bug] US Modality – Unit is not saved correctly and cannot be retrieved after saving

Describe the Bug

When saving US Modality data, the selected unit is not persisted correctly. After saving, the unit value is either missing and cannot be retrieved when the record is reopened.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open a US Modality data .
2. Draw some annotations and note the units
3. Save the annotations.
4. Reload and open the saved SR file and observe the units before scrolling..

The current behavior

The unit is not retained after saving. Upon retrieval, the unit is empty,

The expected behavior

The unit should be saved correctly and displayed accurately when the US Modality SR is retrieved after saving.
